Manahil in Arabic means springs of fresh water. A plural, signifying an endless stream of life, generously given. Water is deeply connected with emotions that run deep, a force of nature that can be overwhelming or can be channeled to invite connections, cultivate community, and create a safe space for others. Having my name chosen for me ages before I came into existence, I was always destined to care deeply, love fiercely, and fight for a life worth living, a generational curse destined to be broken.

No Parts Left Behind is an imaginary movie that plays only in my head, of the places I left behind, where parts of me still reside. My mission is to trace them back and take them all with me into a new world. No Parts Left Behind is my journey over the last few years to stitch myself back together, so we can all leave. The places we're leaving will always exist in memory, but they no longer hold us back, hinder our progress, and weigh down our spirit.
