From working on branding and designing many branding books, I discovered my love for editorial design. In this project, you can also see how my Computer Science background informs my design practice in the way I break down information in an algorithm-like format.

In my current role, I was tasked with designing an accessible admission guide for KFUPM, transforming detailed and text-heavy content into a clear, user-friendly format. The admission process is difficult for prospective students to navigate as it involves many steps, requirements, special tracks, and exceptions.

I streamlined and organized the admission process by establishing a step-by-step structure. I chose a 5-fold format to cover all the admission steps on one side while dedicating the other side to providing essential insights for prospective students. This includes information on how to choose a major, options for skipping the preparatory year, concentration choices to enhance your major, and answers to FAQs.

The admission booklet design has been in use for the last five years, with some updates each year based on the changes in the process. It was originally designed as a 5-fold A5 Brochure in Arabic only. Last year I have added a digital version optimized for scrolling on digital devices, with interactive buttons and links.
