I partnered up with Hind AlGhamdi, a local artist specializing in calligraphy, to assist her in visualizing and presenting her concept for her first-ever sculpture, to secure approval and funding from the jury of the 7th edition of the YSA Exhibition 2021. The project involved concept development, material exploration, and translating her vision into a compelling proposal.

I started with a few sketches, exploring materials and concepts. Then, I decided to build 3D models to better visualize the final results. Working with 3D models helped us refine Hind's concept and proposal, as well as make decisions about details such as colors, materials, and scale.

We connected the sculpture to Hind's previous work by incorporating a calligraphy piece carved into the wood panels, resulting in this final visualization of the sculpture.

Hind’s proposal was accepted by the jury, allowing her to secure funding to produce her work and showcase it in the 7th edition of the YSA Exhibition 2021.
